Can foreigners own land in the Philippines?

Not outright. Land ownership is generally limited to Filipino citizens and corporations at least 60% Filipino-owned. Foreigners can own condominium units and can lease land long-term. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can I build from abroad, for example as an OFW?

Yes. Many owners appoint a representative through a Special Power of Attorney and follow the build through regular progress photos and updates.
